Is this a webinar or conference call or in person meet?
Received the link through BAPTA here in the Bay Area...thank you for opening this up to us out West, too...this should be very beneficial in light of the circumstances...thanks again...
Hopefully we can begin sharing thoughts, questions, and information via this post prior to the March 24th call.
For example, one of my clients is a global investment bank. They are required by the Fed to have well-established plans for business continuity. I have been participating in Pandemic response drills with this bank at least once a year for the last 4 years.
Since last week, the bank's Business Continuity Management team have been sending out response updates with clear instructions regarding work from home, travel, self-quarantine, social distancing, and so on. There are clear instructions about what stage of response the bank is in and what the next stage will be (so people are prepared for the changes).
I have asked for permission to share the most recent communication (after stripping out identifying names, etc.). I believe there are some practical ideas that other organizations can use. This is an unprecedented situation, so it's understandable if some companies don't have plans ready for how to respond. But if there are plans that can be adopted.... well it just seems like the right way to go.
